CIA Product of Tension Reduction

A proclaiming that you might have heard a good deal operational, in sports, and human performance generally speaking is controlling the controllable. What does that really mean? I wanted to consider this concept of governing the controllable, that's actually really good advice incidentally, and take it out with the realm of as being a cliché and in to the whole world of something we could actually do.
In our workshops we'll use something known as the CIA Model to assist students gain idea of this concept and reduce stress in their own lives. It's pretty clear to see this model so here's the short form.
CIA means Control Influence Accept. All in the circumstances and situations that individuals find inside ourselves will get into one of them three categories. I am going to discuss them in the opposite direction order.
Accept
There is definitely an enormous variety of things in our world that people must accept. Weather, traffic patterns, scores and connection between games that people're not actually playing in. Influence
The second category are things that people influence. The two big stuff that get into this are the immediate environment, your car, your working environment, your house, and folks that you simply deal with. Listen, we do not have control over our kids, our colleagues, etc, but perform have influence over them, the other with the best items that that can be done for your own personel growth is that in circumstances where you have influence to exercise that influence will dramatically supercharge your self-esteem.
Control
Now we visit the category of things we can easily control. We're here to share with you governing the controllable. Well, do you know what, folks? I've found that there are really just one thing on the list of things that individuals can control. It's your decisions.
That's right, your decisions about your lifetime are the only thing we already have direct treatments for. When you realize this, it becomes kind of confronting and sort of liberating all simultaneously. What do you do with this information, that this only thing that I have complete control over would be the decisions that I make?
Stop trying to control issues that you haven't any treatments for. Amazing to me the amount energy people waste wanting to control stuff that they maybe have influence over, but in many cases should just accept. I'll also point out that with regards to things that you have zero influence over, I wouldn't spend a lot of time talking or complaining about them. It's merely a drain in your energy. Are you catching yourself looking to control items that you want to just accept? Notice that, and I would change your mind on that.
When you realize how the only thing you have control over is your decisions, assume responsibilty for your decision-making process. I'm not saying to blame yourself when things end up poorly. I am saying it will take responsibility for the decision that you just make. That's when you begin managing the controllables and seeing the outcomes that you just really be interested in.
I don't play a whole lot of poker, but one thing that I have heard is always that winning at cards, specifically poker, has a bit to do with the cards that you simply are dealt, and it poker card back vector carries a huge amount related to how you make decisions and play them that you just're dealt.
